This class is an opportunity for Women interested in welding to learn welding basics in a fun and supportive environment. The student will learn safe welding and shop practice; and how to setup and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, such as SMAW - Shielded Metal Arc Welding - (stick electrode welding) and GMAW - Gas Metal Arc Welding - (solid wire feed welding with a gas shielding). Choose from three (3) project options and leave with a functional art piece.
