Attend a New Student Advising/Registration Workshop

New Student Advising/Registration Workshops usually occur the month before a new semester. Counselors and advisors will help students with WebAdvisor navigation, math and English placement, and registration of classes. There is limited seating and you must sign up in advance in order to attend. The workshop will begin promptly, so it is important to arrive on time. If you are late, you run the risk of losing your seat.

Unable to make it to a New Student Advising/Registration Workshop?

Email counseling@redwoods.edu or call the location you plan to attend to sign up for an advising session to register for classes and develop a student education plan. The placement process is not required but can be helpful to determine which English or Math classes to choose.

Articulation

Articulation is the process of evaluating courses to determine whether coursework completed at one institution (e.g., a community college) will meet the requirements at another institution (e.g., a university) for the purposes of admission, transferable units, general education or major preparation. It is this process that ensures that the classes you take at College of the Redwoods will be credited toward your bachelor’s degree requirements when you enter a university.
