About Us

In CR’s Manufacturing Technology program, you’ll learn to make parts, instruments, and tools from raw materials. It’s specifically designed to prepare you for an entry-level position at local manufacturing firms, which are continually in need of skilled professionals.


Transfer Opportunities

In addition to journeyman or entry-level opportunities in manufacturing,  CR’s Associate of Science Degree in Manufacturing Technology is a strong foundation for students advancing into a 4-year program concentrating on Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design.

The AS Degrees in Manufacturing are accredited by the Association for Technology, Management and Applied Engineering (ATMAE)

What to Expect

You’ll begin by developing a broad foundation across all areas of manufacturing and precision metal working, and then will develop skills in advanced technologies including:  rapid prototyping, laser cutting, laser engraving, five axis machining, CNC machining and product design.  You will also learn to use 3D printers to generate prototypes.
