The 17th annual North Coast Redwoods Writers’ Conference will be held at College of the Redwoods in Crescent City, California on September 22 and 23. Along with keynote speaker Steve Wasserman, five notable authors will share their creativity and expertise.

The two-day event will offer 10 workshops to choose from and is sponsored by many local businesses. There will be a panel discussion Friday evening that is open to the public along with readings by Caroline Gill, Roy Parvin, and Ken Letko. A question and answer segment will follow their readings, and refreshments will be available in the college lobby. Saturday will kick off with a continental breakfast followed by the workshops presenting useful information and tools for authors and aspiring writers.

There will be a catered lunch served from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. with more workshops available after lunch. The conference will conclude with an open mic session for those aspiring writers wishing to share their talents. Books by the authors will be available for sale throughout the conference. Registration is $95 for the entire event.
