What is Dual Enrollment?
College of the Redwoods’ Dual Enrollment program provides an opportunity for high school students to earn college credit for FREE!
Any student who has completed the 8th grade can enroll in classes at any College of the Redwoods location however, they must fill out a Dual Enrollment Form (signed by parent/legal guardian and his/her high school principal) as well as the College of the Redwoods Enrollment Application at CCCApply. High School students pursuing this path may take degree applicable classes only and are limited to a maximum of 11 units per semester. Each dual enrollment course counts for high school credit, as well as college credit, and the classes are offered on your high school campus - taught by qualified high school teachers.
Dual-enrollment courses are certified college courses and are offered for college credit; the grades will go on your permanent college transcript.
