Special Programs Tutoring Resources
Looking for help with your classes? EOPS provides both on campus and online tutoring for students.
Location and Hours:
The center is located just in front of the Academic Support Center in the library at the main Eureka campus and offers one on one tutoring Monday through Thursday from 9-5 and Friday from 9-4. The tutoring center is closed on Saturday, Sunday, and during all campus holidays and breaks.
Subjects: Tutoring help is available in math, science, English, the humanities, and the social sciences. For specific availability see the schedule below.
Scheduling Appointments: Appointments are made on a first come first serve basis and can be made through the tutoring center or the EOPS front desk. We also welcome walk-in appointments.

All EOPS students have access to online tutoring through NetTutor.
What is NetTutor? Net Tutor is an online tutoring resource that allows students to chat with a tutor using text, audio, or video. Students may also submit a question or paper and get feedback emailed to them.
Who are the tutors? All tutors have at least a B.A. in their subject and experience working in education.
When is it available? Tutoring in Math and English is available 24 hours a day, most other subjects also have wide availability, for a complete breakdown of the tutoring schedule by subject click here.

How do I use it? EOPS students can access NetTutor by logging into their Canvas accounts and selecting “NetTutor” under the courses tab, for step by step instructions on using NetTutor click here.
