Paying for School
We establish budgets each year to provide you with a reasonable estimate of the cost of attendance at College of the Redwoods. The expenses listed are approximate only and may differ from student to student.
Students who carefully plan and monitor their budgets and resources are able to focus on school rather than worry about finances. These money management sites provide information on finances, including budgeting.
Financial aid can help bridge the gap between the cost of attendance and your own resources. Use our Net Price Calculator to estimate the amount of financial aid you will receive. Please be aware the net price calculator is not the application for financial aid.
Your bill and receiving your aid
The Business Office at CR is responsible for billing charges to your student account, such as tuition, fees, and housing/meal plans (if applicable). If the bill is greater than the amount of financial aid that is applied to your account, you must pay the difference. There are several ways to pay your bill.
If your financial aid is more than the total of your charges, you may be eligible for a refund to pay other expenses such as books and supplies. In order to expedite the receipt of your refund, we recommend setting up a refund preference at RefundSelection.com.
For more details about financial aid refunds, including estimated disbursement dates, read our Disbursement Information page.
