Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

November 18 update- On Tuesday, November 17, Humboldt County Public Health released a travel advisory that recommends people leaving the county self-quarantine for 14 days upon returning to Humboldt County. With this update from the county, we are rescinding our letter from November 17 and updating the letter with this letter

Our current recommendation for current residents that will be leaving Humboldt County for Thanksgiving break remain at home until the Residence Halls re-open for the Spring 2021 semester on January 11th and 12th.

November 17 update- This letter was emailed to all residents in regards to Thanksgiving break travel and Spring 2021 opening.

 October 6 update- We will begin reviewing Spring Only applications beginning on November 2, 2020. At this time, we expect to have reduced capacity (single rooms) for the Spring 2021 semester due to COVID-19.

Monday-Friday- 9:00am-5:00pm, 6:00pm-9:00pm (RA Office Hours)

Saturday-Sunday 1:00pm-5:00pm (RA Office Hours), 6:00pm-9:00pm (RA Office Hours)

 Living on Campus at College of the Redwoods

Here is your chance to live in a diverse community of up to 150 students under two roofs on the Main Eureka Campus. Our residents come from all over the country and beyond crossing international borders. Our students come from every background imaginable with educational goals just as diverse. The residence hall becomes a small community where you can relax and be yourself. The community includes staff who are here to help you navigate the college resources and help make your stay within the halls as positive as possible. In addition, residents have evening access to the gym, on site laundry facilities, free admission to CR events, and a 5-minute walk to all your classes.

We encourage you to check out all the links within the residential life web page to give you a realistic preview of what living the halls is like. We hope the information helps you in deciding if living on-campus is most beneficial for you in achieving your academic and personal goals.

Admittedly, this site does not cover absolutely all of what on-campus living is about, but we think it covers the basics. Should you require clarification or need more information on a certain topic, please do not hesitate to email us or call us at (707) 476-4294.
