How to Apply

Thank you for your interest in being a part of the living and learning community at College of the Redwoods! Before you begin the Application Packet, please be sure that Residential Life is a good fit for you.

To live on campus you must…

1. Be enrolled in at least 12 units as a Full-Time Student and maintain a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 or higher.
2. Be willing to live in a drug, smoke, and alcohol free environment and observe the Student Code of Conduct and the Community Guidelines at all times

New Students

Welcome to College of the Redwoods!

Please be sure that you have completed all of the steps to “ Getting Started at CR”, as this will help you to complete the Residence Life Application Packet and secure your spot for the upcoming semester!

The 2021-2022 Residence Life Application Packet

Students are selected to live on campus in the order of which they complete all of the contents of the Application Packet

Submissions

Complete Applications include the $500 Application Fee, which is payable to “College of the Redwoods” via check, Debit/Credit. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover. The $500 first payment is made with the Housing Office. The $500 first payment will not be processed until all necessary paperwork is returned completed by the student and reviewed by Housing staff.

The 2021-2022 Housing Application will be fillable via PDF forms. Please refer to the instructions page in the Housing Application forms (insert link) on how to download, save, and return the materials.  You may submit complete applications in-person, via Email, Mail or Fax.

Police Academy

If you are enrolled in the Police Academy and wish to live on campus, please be sure that you complete the appropriate paperwork. On the Application Forms webpage, you must complete all of the contents listed under “Police Academy”.
