10:15 – 11:30      Collaborative Online Network for College Teaching (CONNECT) Modules

In this session, various presenters will walk you through modules in the CONNECT Canvas site available here:

These modules, for which you will have ongoing access in Canvas, include topics such as:

·         A quick Canvas Orientation (CR’s learning management system)

·         General information about CR (e.g., faculty handbook, academic calendar, departments, maps)

·         Benefits for Part-Time Educators

·         Associate Faculty Work Space

·         Creating a syllabus

·         Strategies for the first day of class

·         Classroom Management

·         Assessment

·         Using groups in classroom instruction
