Taylor Morrow returns to the Corsair program, this time beginning his first season as an assistant coach for the 2019-2020 season.
“I am thrilled to be back at College of the Redwoods. Being a part of this era of Corsair basketball is a special opportunity.”
“Taylor understands what the game is all about,” says head men’s coach Ryan Bisio. “It’s about connecting players to themselves and each other. I was so impressed with the way Taylor did that as a local varsity boys’ basketball coach this past season. We are really excited to have Taylor, and to see his development continue here at Redwoods.”
In his first season as varsity head boys’ basketball coach of South Fork High School, Morrow led his alma mater to the Dick Niclai conference tournament semi-finals and a spot on the Division 5 North Coast Section playoffs. Known for his positive energy and ability to connect his players, Morrow led the junior varsity level at South Fork before being promoted to varsity head coach.
As a player, Morrow was team captain of the 2008-2009 College of the Redwoods squad. Morrow had a prolific prep career at South Fork High which included two all-county awards, while also competing in track and field.
Morrow possesses an Associate’s degree from College of the Redwoods and is currently completing his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Humboldt State University.
Coach Morrow will assist the Corsair program in recruiting, strength and conditioning, along with player development.
