Coach Marcus Coleman graduated from Eureka High School in 2004. He was a team captain on Eureka’s 2003 undefeated “Dream Team” where he earned All-HDN honors as a defensive lineman. Coleman than went on to play at College of the Redwoods for two years. Coleman coached defensive line at Eureka High from 2009-2011 before taking a break and returning to coach the Loggers again from 2018-2021.

He has been with his partner Kealoha since 2004 and they have two daughters, Tiana and Nahleah.
