Coach Bean graduated from Redwood High School in Visalia, CA in 1982. He then went on to play running back and wide receiver at both College of Sequoias and Cal-Poly Humboldt. Bean coached for seven years at St. Bernard’s High school in a variety of positions. During that span, Bean served as an assistant coach for Jason White in the 2012 season. He then followed Coach White to Eureka high school in the 2014 season and remained at Eureka as either the running back or wide receiver coach until 2021.

“Junior” has 3 children: Alex, Shed, and Shateara.
