- WOMEN’S SOCCER –
Redwoods soccer went on the road this week to play a competitive Shasta team. The game ended in a 1-1 tie and was the 2ndtie of the season. Kiah Martin, local standout freshman from Eureka, Ca has embraced a big role for this team as she scored the lone goal. Coach Ayala is very excited on her performance this year and can’t wait to see her mature. Soccer’s next matchup is on the road against a scrappy Feather River team.

- MEN’S SOCCER –
Redwoods men soccer went on the road this week to play Shasta first, followed by Lassen. Shasta downed the Redwoods 2-0, but Redwoods rebounded with a 5-1 winning effort vs Lassen. Arturo Lemus had a spectacular game vs Lassen, scoring 4 goals and providing lots of enthusiasm late in the season. Coach Van Dyke is having a breakthrough season and likes how hard his team competes every game.
