CR was selected by the Institutional Effectiveness Partnership Initiative (IEPI) to receive a California Community Colleges Leadership Development Award of $50,000 to create a ten-day leadership development program for managers and administrators. Thanks to the work of Dr. Angelina Hill CR's proposal proved to be among the most competitive in a large pool of applicants.
Wendy Bates will take the lead in working with the Cascadia Center for Leadership to develop the program. We expect the first cohort to start in the summer of 2017.
Why is this program important to the College? Implementing this leadership development program demonstrates our strong commitment to provide professional development opportunities for our managers and administrators. It also provides tangible evidence for CR's continuous adherence to accreditation standards.
