The CR Athletic Department recently released the 2016 Fall Semester Honor Roll and 67 Corsair student athletes made the grade with a 3.0 grade point average or better. Also, 17 qualified for the President’s List and 14 for the Vice President’s List.  What an accomplishment!

In addition, team GPA’s were outstanding for the fall with volleyball leading the way with a cumulative team GPA of 3.22. The cumulative GPA for all student athletes was 2.7 and 95.2% of student athletes had a cumulative GPA of 2.8:

Softball—2.81
Cross Country/Track—2.78
Women’s Basketball—2.74
Football—2.62
Men’s Soccer—2.42
Women’s Soccer 2.36

The academic success of our student athletes is a tribute to the efforts of our coaches, counselors and the “Cap and Gown” supervised tutoring program. Only one out of over 180 student athletes were academically ineligible during the fall thanks to the support received in “Cap and Gown”.
