Food Forest on our Del Norte Campus

Food Forest on our Del Norte Campus
The Del Norte faculty and staff are working in partnership with the Tolowa Dee-Ni' Nation and the Del Norte Community Food Council to develop a food forest on land between the campus and Washington Blvd.  The forest will be named Taa-'at-dvn Chee-ne' Tetlh-tvm'--which is Tolowa for "the Crescent City Tree Garden."

Take a look at a few of the pictures of Chris Callahan's Environmental Science class planting the first trees in the new forest.
