Cheers to Enrollment Services and Institutional Research for working together to help us surpass our institution set standard for degree completions!  We awarded 27 more degrees and 25 more certificates than last year.  Joanna Tindle, our Evaluation Specialist, has been working on identifying past students who had completed the requisite credits but had not applied for the degree.  She was able to award an additional 71 degrees this spring: 32 in Humanities/Communication, 21 in Behavior/Social Studies, 14 in Science Exploration, 2 in Business, 1 in Fine Arts and 1 in Science.  Joanna will work with Dr. Angelina Hill to look back further at students who may have earned transfer and CTE degrees and certificates but failed to apply for a degree. We expect the number of degrees and certificates to continue to increase as a result of Angelina Hill’s and Joanna Tindle’s work!
