Active Shooter Training

How to survive and what to do if you find yourself involved in an active shooter situation

Active Shooter Training

Published on 12/10/2015.

This week’s Active Shooter training was a huge success and well attended with more than 50 faculty and staff attending both sessions.

Humboldt County Sheriff’s office discussed a scary yet relevant topic, how to survive and what to do if you find yourself involved in an active shooter situation. The CR community would like to thank Lt. Kevin Miller, Deputy Matt Helm for their presentation.

We had both local news channels attend Wednesday’s session, if you’d like to see their report click the links below.

We will be offering another session for faculty and staff during the flex activities on January 14th. Please watch your emails for details. We are also working with the Sheriff’s office on a presentation for students and community members, stay tuned.
