I was saddened to read that Dr. Marian Perry, one of College of the Redwoods’ founding faculty members, passed away on October 17, 2017.  

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Perry at the 2015 Sports Auction when she was the guest of honor.  I found her extremely engaging, witty, and insightful.  Her obituary noted that Dr. Perry was one of the first faculty members CR hired in 1965, and over the years coached or taught tennis, basketball, volleyball, softball, swimming, badminton, and archery.
