The American Sociological Association announced that they have awarded Philip Mancus the Distinguished Scholarship for his paper “The Invisible Animal: Anthropology and Macrosociology.” The paper was co-authored with Professor Richard York, University of Oregon and published in the journal Sociological Theory.
CR is very proud of Philip’s scholarship and his commitment to his students. We are extremely fortunate to have him as a colleague. Philip’s award will be presented at the American Sociological Association’s annual conference in Chicago on August 24, 2015.
