We are blessed to be able to work alongside some wonderful colleagues in service to our students and each other. It is with great pleasure that I post a big shout out to Eureka Campus Maintenance employee, Kevin Crotty, for the special recognition he received from his supervisor.  His supervisor wrote:

"Kevin was instrumental in learning to refinish the Gym and Field House floors.  This work had previously been completed by a vendor and the Custodial team was able to bring the work in house, resulting in a higher level of service to the Physical Education department, while also saving the District money.  Kevin’s willingness and ability to learn from the vendor, the in person training and the product materials contributed significantly to the success of this project.  Kevin’s teamwork and leadership on this project are illustrated in the excellent results achieved on both playing floors.  Students benefit from the improved appearance, and enhanced traction.  The college benefits from offering a higher quality playing environment and from the longer-term benefits that will result in extending the useful life of the District’s playing floors."
