One of our important goals is the development of a sustainable professional development program that supports the continuous learning of all our employees. I sincerely believe that we have a shared interest and commitment to provide opportunities for all employees to develop their skills and improve leadership qualities.
The Professional Development Committee did a phenomenal job last year offering professional development opportunities that were engaging and challenging. Our professional development work continued over the summer with the recent offering of StrengthsQuest activity to classified staff, management and administrators. Crystal Morse and Angelina Hill, co-facilitators of the activity, led us through an assessment tool that helped us understand and maximize our natural talents.
The StrengthsQuest assessment revealed our top five collective signature strengths as: Responsibility, Achiever, Learner, Relator, and Harmony. I find it interesting that my signature strengths are: Arranger, Input, Maximizer, Belief, and Adaptability. Mmmm….I wonder what that means? :-)
