Solving Our Short and Long-Term Budget Challenges Together

This year we were able to forward a balanced 2016-17 Final Budget to the Board of Trustees for approval.  We wouldn’t have been able to do so if not for the resourceful and determined work of our dedicated faculty, staff, managers, confidential staff and administrators.

Thanks to the hard work of Professor Cindy Hooper and others we're very close to joining the list of California institutions displaying Native American basket collections.  For CR, displaying the Native American basket collection is a sacred and honorable responsibility. 

CR is participating in the Institutional Effectiveness Partnership Initiative (IEPI) Project

To support our continuing commitment to improving our institutional effectiveness, we submitted an application to participate in an Institutional Effectiveness Partnership Initiative (IEPI)—a project focused on using a peer review process to help community colleges review and address operational problems that, if solved, could improve institutional effectiveness.

A Statement of Support for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe from College of the Redwoods

I signed a letter in support of the people of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in their current, peaceful efforts to stop the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline this past Wednesday.
