I authorized the search for six new fulltime faculty positions for fall 2020--four funded through the general fund and two using our Strong Workforce money.

HSU President Tom Jackson and I signed a memorandum of understanding today at an event at CR to formalize a partnership. I want to thank Molly Blakemore for her significant contribution to make this MOU happen!

I also want to thank Trustees Dr. Mullery and Dr. Deister for representing our Board of Trustees at the press conference.

I am pleased to share the great news that the State Board of Nursing approved our LVN to RN bridge program for the Del Norte Campus today. I "reprinted" the excellent press release Molly Blakemore disseminated to the local media late this morning in this article.  Congratulations to everyone who played a part in this important initiative.

Everyone in CR’s financial aid office holds at least one nationally recognized credential. Across the entire association, there have been 17,517 credentials earned by 5,810 people across 17 subjects.
