Board approves New Science Lab for Del Norte

The project will provide a state-of-the-art teaching wet laboratory for Biology, Chemistry, Nursing, Anatomy and Physiology as well as a dry lab to support our Geology curriculum at the Center. Additionally, the project will provide more accessible pathways, a new emergency backup generator, and better fire lanes.

Dogged Determination

After nearly 8 years of training and 6 years of competing in dog agility trials, Tiffany Schmitcke and her Wirehaired Pointing Griffon named Barrett, succeeded in earning their Master Agility Championship (MACH) title at the AKC Agility Trials in Santa Rosa.

College of the Redwoods students who have been chosen by the California Community College CalWORKs Association to be included in the California Community College CalWORKs Association Portraits of Students Success 2016 publication.  The CalWORKs Association highlights several successful CalWORKs students chosen by the CalWORKs Association Board from all the California Community Colleges.

The College of the Redwoods Athletic Department announced its 2015 Fall Semester Honor Roll and 83 of 203 student athletes (41%) were able to attain a minimum 3.0 grade point average, the largest number and highest percentage since tracking began in 2005.
