A rotting 35-foot long sperm whale may attract the curious, but eventually the smell  is enough to drive most beachgoers away. Not Chris Callahan.

Today the board approved the appointment of William (Marty) Coelho as Executive Director of College Advancement following a three-month national search. Coelho, who brings over 23 years of experience in a variety of external relations roles in higher education and non-profit organizations, will lead the college’s fundraising, alumni development, marketing and communications and will serve on the senior leadership team.

College of the Redwoods has hired Amber Buntin as the new full-time Mathematics professor at the Del Norte campus. 

Students had the opportunity to learn the anatomical differences of these two different fish species and enjoy fish tacos!
