Our summer program residential staff are inspiring and influential mentors who help our participants realize their college dreams. Residential staff provide fun, safe, and rewarding experiences to participants who are living away from home for 5 weeks during the summer. All residential staff are expected to reside in the residence halls while the program is in session. In addition to hourly pay, residential staff receive room and board (bed and meals) at no cost to them. Residential staff also receive paid training. All positions require completion of at least one year of college. Ideal applicants will be recent college graduates OR were enrolled in college or graduate school during the 2017/18 academic year. Staff must also have certification in CPR and First Aid which is not provided as part of the Upward Bound training.
Please we aware that temporary staff at College of the Redwoods are only paid once a month on the 10th of each month so you will not receive your first paycheck until July 10th if you start in June and August 10th if you start in July.

Residential Coordinator* (RC) $14.00/hour, (1 position): First review date is March 1, 2019. Tentative dates of employment are June 1 - Aug 8, 2019.
Assistant Residential Coordinator* (ARC) $13/hour, (1 position): First review date is March 1, 2019. Tentative dates of employment are June 1 - Aug 8, 2019.
Residential Advisor* (RA), $12/hour (multiple positions with day & night shifts): First review date is March 1, 2019. Tentative dates of employment are July 1- Aug 8, 2019.
