Using Outcomes in Canvas

Are you interested in learning more about how to use Canvas to streamline the SLO assessment process? Perhaps your file cabinet is overflowing with assessment artifacts and you know that there has to be a better way to store assessment data. This workshop will provide an overview of the Canvas outcomes tool, which will include viewing a sample course with examples of how the tool works with assignments and quizzes, and how Canvas can be used as an assessment artifact repository. In addition, we will look at organizing the assessment process to collect qualitative data for dialogue and reporting purposes. In addition to supporting your assessment efforts at the instructor level, using Canvas for SLO assessment will support CR’s effort to collect even more meaningful assessment data and better meet accreditation standards.
