CR screening of The Hunting Ground
On Wednesday, April 27, The Multicultural and Diversity Committee is hosting a film screening of The Hunting Ground in Humanities 129 at 6:30 PM. Directed by Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering, this documentary sheds light on the epidemic of sexualized violence on college campuses across the nation and recounts the journey of two survivors who file a Title IX complaint against the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and thereby changed the way that sexual assault and rape are handled by such institutions. Pizza and beverages will be provided with discussion to follow.
