On Wednesday, May 4, The Multicultural and Diversity Committee and Communications Department are hosting a film screening of Tough Guise 2 in Humanities 129 at 6:30 PM. This Jackson Katz film exposes the pervasive influence that violence, sexism, and homophobia have on constructions of masculinity in the United States and challenges the viewers to move beyond these models of defining what it means to be “a real man.” Pizza and beverages will be provided with discussion to follow.
