Jerry Goodrow- Welding Tech

Jerry has worked at CR since 2015, when he started as an Instructional Support Specialist (ISS) for the Welding Lab. After one year as an ISS he began teaching as Associate Faculty. Before coming to CR he was a Welding Specialist with Palco (now Humboldt Redwoods Company) for 25 years. He loves teaching, and came out of semi-retirement to teach at CR. He has taken on the one-year, interim full-time faculty position to ensure a seamless transition for his students and to continue development of the Fabrication Lab.

Carolyn Perkins - Social Work & Human Services

Carolyn has worked in the field of Social Work for the past 28 years. Over the years she has worked in a variety of settings including tribal, county and state child welfare, health education and outreach, HIV/AIDS case management, school social work, and community organizing.  She is excited to be involved at the start or CR’s new program, which she believes will tie students directly to opportunities in their community, as well as into new pathways on their educational journey.

Ernie Shull –Automotive Tech

Ernie has been with CR for five years, first as a maintenance specialist and then for the last two years as associate faculty in the Auto program. He has enjoyed teaching from the moment he started and finds that helping students to enrich their lives and develop skills that will lead to good jobs in the auto industry is very rewarding.
