Colleen Mullery, President of CR’s Board of Trustees, moved to Humboldt County in 1984, to join Humboldt State University’s faculty. In 2005, she transitioned from Professor of Business to HSU Administrator serving as the Senior AVP for Faculty Affairs and Human Resources until her retirement in 2018. Colleen's association with HSU continues as a Professor Emerita. A community college in the Philadelphia area was Colleen’s pathway to higher education. She believes access to a community college system, coupled with financial support through scholarships and grants, was pivotal in supporting her higher education pursuits which eventually resulted in her earning an MBA and a doctoral degree. Involvement with the CR Foundation is one way she can give back to support access to education for all.
