This is a combined course where students will work on improving English Language skills while also improving reading comprehension. Students only need to enroll in one class and will be co-enrolled in both READ 260 and ESL 211. This hybrid ESL reading class focuses on comprehension strategies and advanced English Vocabulary structures. Students will read, discuss and analyze texts for meaning and relevance while improving their knowledge of English. Because this class requires discussion, it is recommended that students attend online discussion on Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:00 - 4:00pm; however, the class may be completed without attending this portion.
