The Behavior Intervention Team (BIT) provides prevention, intervention and resources for students in an effort to address student behavioral issues and promote academic success and safety through appropriate and timely responses.
College of the Redwoods created BIT to address student behaviors that may be detrimental to health and safety on the campus by:
WHAT WE CAN DO:
The BIT will meet with referring staff and/or faculty and create a plan of intervention what is most appropriate. BIT will continue to be in communication with staff and faculty throughout the process. The goal is to support the student, staff and faculty throughout the process until the issue at hand has been maximally addressed.
