Truck Driving Instructor Wanted 

This is your chance to pass on your knowledge and help others become professional truck drivers. Must have patience and great communication skills to be able to pass on your professional knowledge to future drivers. Home daily and hourly wage. This is a part time position teaching the driving skills portion 6 days a week. There are 3-4 classes per year and each class is 6 weeks long. After the class, the instructor will accompany the students to DMV for their driven exam. In addition, instructor will be responsible for ensuring the truck is kept in good working order and the 90 day inspections are completed on time. The person in this position will need to work closely with the Director to ensure students' progress is documented throughout the course.

The basic requirements for this job are as follows:
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledgeable of California and Federal trucking laws
- Neat appearance
- Good driving record
- Clean criminal background and drug test
- California driver’s Class A license – 2 years of experience as an over the road driver
- Must be able to drive a 13 speed
- Teaching experience preferred but not required
