Twenty-five students from the College of the Redwoods Klamath-Trinity Instructional Site (KTIS) will be honored during commencement exercises at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 18 at Hoopa High School Mattz Gymnasium in Hoopa, California.
Of the twenty-five students to be honored, twenty-two degrees and seven certificates will be conferred during commencement. The student choice for KTIS Faculty of the Year is Danny Ammon. Angela Jarnaghan has been selected as the Outstanding Student Scholar.
Dr. Angelina Hill, Vice President of Instruction, will present opening remarks and introduce the graduates. Hoopa Tribal Education Association Executive Director, Erika Tracy and Chairman, Ryan Jackson of the Hoopa Valley Tribe will give speeches. Dr. Flamer and CR Board of Trustees President Bruce Emad will present diplomas to the graduates.
