What Happens in the End
Examination of the relationships among death, the death industry, COVID-19, and the environment through an ecofeminist perspective.
Join us on Monday, March 8, 2021 from 11am-1pm, via Zoom https://cccconfer.zoom.us/j/98740175358
Presenter Aluka Eddy (she/her) is a College of the Redwoods alumna and graduate student at Humboldt State University studying sociology with an emphasis in death and dying. Her research aims to cultivate an embodied understanding of death as the ultimate common ground from which to construct a diverse coalition of solidarity and catalyze social and environmental justice. She also advocates for death planning and autonomy as it relieves us and loved ones of unnecessary burdens and encourages us to live fully.
