Presentation by Vincent Feliz, MSW
About the Speaker
Vincent (Chumash), has lived in Humboldt County for the last 26 years. Before that, he was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. Vincent has a graduate degree in social work from CSU, Long Beach and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Humboldt State University.
Vincent has been a part-time lecturer for HSU Social Work Department since 2010, having taught over 20 courses. Since 1998, his career journey has offered opportunities to work as a therapist/ counselor at United Indian Health Services, Inc., Humboldt State University’s Counseling & Psych Services and the Dean of Students Office. Currently, Vincent is the Program Coordinator for Northern California Indian Development Council’s Da’luk Tribal Youth Program.
