Don Olson arrived in Del Norte County in 1955. He was not quite 2 years old. Don taught elementary school for 21 years, and served 17 years in administration, in positions ranging from assistant principal to superintendent.
Don has always felt fortunate for the support that he received from his family and community in his personal and professional life. Don attended College of the Redwoods in the early 70's and always felt fortunate for the education and opportunities he received while attending CR. He believes in the importance of supporting future generations for our region. He serves to provide support to students and families in their educational endeavors.
