CR’s Katie Sharp to speak at HSU event
Professor Katie Sharp will speak on Historic Trauma at the Humboldt State University "Water is Life: The Standing Rock-Klamath Connection Event" being held this Saturday, March 4, 12 - 6 pm. Free parking. This is being held in the Kate Buchannon Room at the top of the hill - 1 Harpst Street, Arcata, CA  95521. It is being hosted by the HSU Environment & Community Club. The day is filled with information about law, history and the roles different people play. 
 
Professor Sharp’s segment will be on historic trauma and recovery/ healing, which should begin about 4:00 pm. Following, groups will gather to find solutions, and come up with Action Plans. Tribes, State Representatives, community and others have been invited.
