VOTE TODAY! CR's LOGO SURVEY

College of the Redwoods is considering three new logos and we want your opinion. A logo committee with board, faculty, staff and student representation has worked for the last several months to produce options for CR’s new logo.

The three students whose work is presented for voting were from Natalia Margulis' Art 42/Beginning Graphic Design Fall 2016 class. Diverse and driven, the class rose to the occasion and produced work of unparalleled quality, accomplishing a feat that is difficult even for seasoned designers. Congratulations to the finalists!

Margulis said her classes’ “assignment was to create a logo that spoke both to the natural beauty of the area and to the values of inclusivity that lie at the very heart of CR as an academic institution. The 3 'best in class' logos were selected based on originality, strength of visual storytelling, and crisp, contemporary design styles.”

Now we are asking each member of the CR community to pick the logo that represents their own journey at CR and that in their eyes will best represent the values of CR to the outside world in one powerful visual statement.

The results of the survey, along with recommendations from the committee will be presented to the Board of Trustees for logo approval on April 11th.
