Outreach - Redwood Coast Career & Education Fair

This year's fair is a partnership between the Humboldt County Department of Health and Human Services, the California Employment Development Department, the Decade of Difference, the Northern Humboldt Union High School District, and the Northcoast Employer Advisory Council.  

The Redwood Coast Career & Education Fair will bring together more than 50 representatives from business, education, trade, military, professional, and nonprofit organizations to help students learn about future opportunities, and to connect job-seeking adults with local employers who are hiring. 

Approximately 300 high school students will attend the fair, so including CR outreach and CR CTE will be helpful for providing students with information about attending College of the Redwoods   In addition to providing information for high school students, College of the Redwoods might also be interested in reaching out to potential Adult Education students, and job seeking members of the public through the fair.   I believe that Anthony Rivera from EDD has connected with Pru Ratliff about CR's broader participation.
