College of the Redwoods Child Development Center holds holiday fundraiser

The College of the Redwoods Child Development Center will hold its first annual Holiday Bazaar on Friday, Dec. 1 from 3:30pm to 8:30pm. The event is a fundraiser for the CDC, to raise funds for improvements and special projects.

Vendors for the event will be Mantova’s Two Street Music, LuLaRoe, Scentsy, Jamberry, Homemade Tamales, Beez Neez Arts and Crafts, Momma Gerty’s Goat Milk Soap, Eel River Boutique, Naked Eye 17 Photography, Megan’s Kiss, Aloette, Damsel in Defense, and many more.

There will also be raffle prizes, including gift certificates, local vendor products, oil change, artwork and others to be announced. The theme of the event is “Local businesses supporting local child care.”

The CR Child Development Center is a nationally accredited facility that provides care of children aged 18 months to 5 years.  Community members as well as CR students and staff are eligible for services. The CDC is located near the south side of the main parking lot, just down the hill from the gymnasium.
