Open enrollment begins April 30 for College of the Redwoods 2018-19 classes

Open enrollment for College of the Redwoods Summer and Fall 2018, and Spring 2019 classes will begin April 30th.  Students can enroll at CR locations in Eureka, Crescent City and Hoopa, or online at www.redwoods.edu/getstarted

First-time college students, who are California residents and maintain a full class load (12 units) at College of the Redwoods, will receive free tuition (waiving of enrollment fees) for Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 semesters. This program - CR’s College Access Program - is currently being funded by the state of California for only the 2018-19 academic year.

Although returning students will not qualify for the College Access Program, a large percentage of CR students still qualify for free tuition through the California College Promise Grant (formerly known as the Board of Governor’s Waiver - BOG) which is awarded based on household income.  As a returning student please fill out the FASFA form and speak with a CR financial aid representative.   https://www.redwoods.edu/financialaid/Apply-for-Financial-Aid/Start-Here

CR offers academic and university-transferable courses as well as career and technical education courses. Also available at CR are adult and community education classes such as Medical Assisting, English as a Second Language, Wildland Fire Training, Truck Driving, and the Auto Body Repair Program.
