BOBBIE PURIFY
- WOMEN’S BASKETBALL –
Women’s basketball traveled to play a talented Siskiyous team and rival Shasta College. Redwoods had a rough game vs. Siskiyous but rebounded with a very competitive game vs Shasta. Local sophomore from Eureka, Ca has been a staple for her team all season and has showed she is one of the top players in the GVC. This week Purify averaged 20 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.
LOGAN THRAP
- MEN’S BASKETBALL –
Men’s basketball went on the road this week to compete against Siskiyous and rival Shasta College. Redwoods came up short in an exciting Siskiyous game and followed with a tough lost against Shasta. Sophomore Logan Thrap has found a rhythm through conference as he continues to put up impressive numbers. For the week Thrap averaged 21 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assist and 1 steal. This includes a monster 34 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 assists game vs. Siskiyous.
