BOBBIE PURIFY
- TRACK & FIELD –
Redwoods track & field went on the road to another competitive invite in Chico and continue to make positive progress. For the women, Bobbie Purify, recently joined the team after she completed basketball season and installed immediate impact. In the 100m she finished 8th(12.81), and long jump she finished 4th(5.12m/16’ 9.75). With her long jump score she has now qualified for NorCal Championships in hopes to improve and qualify for state.
EARL BUCHANAN
Redwoods traveled to the Chico invite and put up some impressive numbers. Earl Buchanan, sophomore from Lancaster, Ca, had big success in the early season. Earl placed 4thin the 200m (22.51) which is a PR for him. With that 200m time he has qualified for the NorCal Championships with desires to compete for state.
