CR hosts Technology Exploration Summer Institute

From June 21- July 7 CR's Computer Information Systems (CIS) program, in partnership with the Humboldt County Office of Education, hosted 16 high school students for the Technology Exploration Summer Institute (TESI), which gives them the opportunity to explore career fields in Information Communication Technologies (ICT).

Topics Included

• Introduction to ICT
• IT Concepts and Terminology
• Infrastructure
• Applications & Software
• Software Development
• Database Fundamentals
• Security

The institute also included three worksites tours where they were able to talk to industry professionals.
