College of the Redwoods holds Transfer Day event

Representatives from many of the California State University, University of California, California private and out-of-state colleges will be at the College of the Redwoods Eureka campus on Tuesday, September 13, for the annual Transfer Day event.  Transfer Day will take place from 1:30pm to 4:30pm in the College of the Redwoods Learning Resource Center. 

Representatives will be available in-person to meet with students to provide information about their colleges, programs, and admissions requirements, as well as help students plan their transfer to another university after attending College of the Redwoods.  This will be the only time many of the representatives will be in Humboldt County, so students are encouraged to attend. 

This is a drop-in event open to all College of the Redwoods students and the general public interested in learning more about transferring to a university after attending CR.  Contact the CR Counseling and Advising office at 707-476-4150 for more information.

This year’s Transfer Day participants will include Cal Poly Humboldt, Chico State University, San Francisco State University, Sacramento State University, Sonoma State University, UC Davis, UC Berkeley, UC Los Angeles, UC Santa Cruz, Southern Oregon University, University of Oregon, University of Idaho, National University, Grand Canyon University, Western Governor’s University, and University of La Verne.
