It’s always exciting to highlight the work of our faculty and the academic honors of our students.  Christopher Pitts, one of our Honors students, has been awarded the fifth annual Dickens Universe scholarship to participate in the August 2-7 Dickens University 2015 conference on the UC Santa Cruz campus. The Dickens Universe is the major academic conference on Dickens in the world.  Chris was chosen for the scholarship based on the Honors essay he wrote for Professor Susan Nordlof’s English 1B class last spring ("Arise and Awaken: The Spirit of Fellowship in Morris’s 'A Dream of John Ball'").
